Located in the vibrant coastal area of Berkeley is St Mary's, our 32-bed residential home, and we are seeking an experienced Residential Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the home on a permanent full-time basis.
The home leadership team comprises a part-time Care Manager, Workplace Educator, Senior Administration Coordinator, Cook, and Lifestyle Coordinator, along with a team of passionate nurses and carers who will thrive working underneath your strong leadership. You will also have ongoing support from your Regional Manager, Regional Support Manager, and Business Partners from Support Office including Finance, HR, HSW, and Recruitment.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and leading the clinical care team to focus on a culture of continual improvement and qualityEnsuring the home complies with Aged Care Accreditation StandardsEnsuring high-quality resident care is consistently delivered throughout the home to all residents including updating of care plans, wound reviews, medication overview, and moreTo be successful in this role you'll need Completion of tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare, or similar (Bachelor of Nursing)Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRAThorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality StandardsDemonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processesProven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management, rostering, and budget managementA truly collaborative, compassionate approach to work and the ability to inspire a teamAn exceptional communicator who is collaborative and values relationshipsWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearanceWhat we can offer you Not for profit salary packaging (so you pay less tax) + meal entertainment benefitsSeven additional leave days per year!Long service leave after 5 years of serviceOngoing growth and learning through Catholic Healthcare's internal training programs and annual scholarship programDiscounted gym membership through Fitness PassportA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
