As the Residential Life Coordinator, you will work alongside a team of people to build and nurture residential life in a student accommodation environment. You will play a key role in working with residents to ensure their study/life balance is good and providing support throughout their studies. There are lots of qualities that we look for in our team, but above all we need people who are resilient, supportive, caring, hands-on, and positive. You will enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, as well as planning and running a robust events and activities program. Some of your essential skills include strong written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills, solid planning, and organisational skills and a "we care" attitude.
This is a full-time position offering a Monday to Friday roster with some after-hours shifts occasionally needed.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a Residential Life Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assist the Residential Life Manager in the design, development, implementation, and management of the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program ensuring a balanced variety of events.Monitoring and supporting the wellbeing of residents, providing aid when problems arise.Provide on-call after-hours assistance as the primary contact for residents in relation to all situations that may arise.Play an active role in the incident response and management team during shift times and after-hours, and maintain incident records.Our mandatory requirements include:
