House Manager Residential Care Sherwood Program Western Sydney Hub Location: ParramattaFull-time, x2 Ongoing OpportunitiesGrade 7/8 - $106,025 - $117,363 p.a.
+ superannuation and annual leave loading Flexible work practices including flexible working hours, 35-hour week and flex leave About us DCJ Statewide Services, Intensive Support Services (ISS) provide a diverse and dynamic work environment with a central focus on supporting children, young people, their carers and families to reach their potential.
We are seeking motivated and experienced House Managers to support the establishment of the Sherwood Program - Western Sydney Hub: a new DCJ delivered residential care program in the Greater Western Sydney area caring for children and young people while a kinship, foster care, or other carer-based placement is identified.

ISS deliver all programs in strong partnership with internal and external service providers.

Your role You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of carers to create a therapeutic living environment to support children and young people.

The House Manager is responsible for: Designing and implementing daily routines and planned strategies Managing budgets and the day to day operation of the unit including staff rosters Supervising and coordinating individual support services and direct care for residents including health, education and community participation strategies Incident management including review of incident and activity reports.
What we're looking for Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
First Aid Certificate.
Be on call out of hours at agreed times to provide direction and advice.
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Appointments are subject to reference checks and the following pre-employment checks: National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014 Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 Successful applicant may also require entry on to the OCG Residential Carer's Register
