Based in our Golden Grove and Ingle Farm Residential Care Home, as our highly valued Residential Care Worker, your ability to deliver excellent personal care services to our residents will contribute to making a positive impact in their lives.
You'll also make an impact by:Ensuring the personal care delivered is based on the care planSupporting the residents to live a life of choice and independenceContributing to the care plan development with your views and observations about the client.
What you'll bring To succeed in this role, you will have:A Certificate III in Aged Care or studying towards a nursing qualification and have completed the placement stagesGood communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accuratelyA minimum of  1-2 years experience as a care worker (ideally in an aged care setting)A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain oneYou'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:Previous experience in the aged care sectorThe ability to work as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to make decisions, take initiative and work independentlyCurrent First Aid certificatePlease click the link below to view the position description:Residential Care Worker Position Description Why Helping Hand?We get it - a role in aged care is more than just money.
