Senior RN Job description About Us: Based in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide, Pearson Allied Health Services (PAHS) specialise in providing allied health services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. Offering a flexible service, sessions can take place in our office or within the community. Our goal is to provide a truly person-centered service while working within a trans-disciplinary team. Established in 2014, our clinical team has grown to include Support Coordinators, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Behavioural Therapists, Our Animal Team, Short Term Accommodation, Day Programs and Our Mentor Support Team.

Take the next step in your career and join a talented team of allied health professionals.  PAHS is looking for a Senior RN to join our leadership team.

The optimal candidate will display efficiency and confidence in their clinical care, coupled with a genuine sense of empathy and understanding of how the NDIS works. Additionally, you should be dedicated to collaborating seamlessly with a large support worker and allied health team committed to delivering a high standard of person-centered care. 
Tasks and duties This role could involve working with Clients in their own homes, from our office in Morphett Vale or at one of our community houses, you would be: 
Working with high intensity complex clients, and participants with varying disabilities. Experienced in and able to provide training in PEG and Nasogastric Management, Complex Bowel care, Indwelling/ suprapubic catheter care, Continence care, Medications.Nasopharyngeal/ tracheal suctioning, Seizure Management, and wound care. Extensive and accurate documentation, including various assessments, person-centered care plans and risk assessments. Able to lead and support teams.  Collaborating with other allied health, medical professionals & NDIS personnel. Accepting accountability for own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others, including providing direct or indirect supervision to nursing staff and support workers, and supporting the delivery of competency-based training and assessment of health support tasks.We can teach you the skills you will require if you have the passion, mindset and motivation.
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following: Highly developed skills in client nursing and personal carePossess a basic understanding of the role and functions of the NDISAbility to work autonomously and recognise when matters require escalating to leadershipExperience with leading a team Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, including a current AHPRA registration Current NDIS Worker Check Working with Children's checkNDIS Orientation certificateWorking Right: Passport, Visa or CitizenshipCurrent Senior First Aid CertificateFace to Face Manual Handling CertificationDrivers Licence - Must be P2 or Fully LicensedCar insurance and registrationWhy join us: · Located down South, in Morphett Vale
