Residential Aged Care (Rac) Funding Assessor

Working as part of a team across Albany and the surrounding areas, you will enjoy autonomy in carrying out your work, traveling to aged care homes to conduct Residential Aged Care Funding Assessments using the AN-ACC tool.While direct care isn't part of the day-to-day work, you will use your expert clinical skills and knowledge to conduct interviews with residents and staff and review health records to inform the AN-ACC assessment.What you can expect:Competitive remuneration, paid travel, super and access to a range of other benefits.Work-life balance, including work from home and the flexibility to manage your own schedule between the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.Mileage reimbursementAutonomy with access to peer support and guidance from a RAC Funding Senior Assessor.Comprehensive, fully-paid training for the role with CPD points at commencement and other professional development opportunities.Opportunities to travel and work across the state/country to undertake assessments.What you bring:5 years' post-graduate experience in aged care including working with people with dementia.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy with unrestricted AHPRA registration.Current Influenza vaccination evidenceAbility to conduct clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.A genuine desire to improve the lives of older Australians.Your own vehicle as travel will be required within your region.
