About Cruise Whitsundays Cruise Whitsundays, based in Airlie Beach, is the largest marine-based tour and transport provider in the Whitsundays. Providing close encounters with the Great Barrier Reef, Whitehaven Beach, and the islands of the Whitsundays, Cruise Whitsundays operates 10 modern, well-equipped, air-conditioned vessels, plus a world-class sailing catamaran, offering a range of tours, as well as an inter-island resort connection service, with regular daily departures at three islands, one airport, and two mainland ports.
About the Role We are currently seeking a Reservations Supervisor to join our Reservations Team. This is a 6-month fixed-term position based at the Port of Airlie. Reporting to the Customer Service & Sales Manager, the Reservations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and guidance of the Reservations Team ensuring correct policies and procedures are being followed. The role is responsible for ensuring that Revenue Targets can be met by managing manifests and availability.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Daily supervision of the Reservations Team Support the Customer Service & Sales Manager Keep up to date with all Cruise Whitsundays products, timetables, promotions The supervision and management of the Reservations Team with key focus on Hamilton Island and Daydream Island team members Monitor bookings, manifests, availability in accordance with demand and weather Maintain all Reservations Policies and Procedures to ensure information is accurate Run regular operational reports to monitor team and business activity Agent Account inquiries Daily Invoices Daily vessel number reconciliation Balancing of website payment methods Ensure balancing of all Reservations point of sales Manage website partners product content and availability Set up local promotions Regularly update team information on Navigator Manage customer complaints in the absence of the Customer Service & Sales Manager Manage PayGlobal in the absence of the Customer Service & Sales Manager Support and grow relationships with local agents Plan, prioritize, and delegate work tasks About You You will be a team leader who will take pride in your ability to help lead the Reservations Team. You will be passionate about the Tourism Industry with a real commitment to helping your team deliver the best standards of customer service. You are self-motivated, competent, and adaptable with an eye for detail.
