DHA manages one of Australia's largest national housing portfolios of about 17,000 properties and has an opportunity for an experienced Research Services Manager to join the team.About the roleWe are seeking a skilled and strategic Research Manager to design and implement impactful surveys, deliver data-driven insights and foster an inclusive team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical background, an ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences, and a commitment to public service professionalism and innovation.The role is responsible for:Research or evaluation experience: Proficiency in developing research questions, conducting literature reviews, and selecting appropriate methodologies. You will have relevant qualifications, for example in Applied Statistics, Psychology/Statistics, Economics or similar.Analytical expertise: Experience with data preparation, including ETL processes, business intelligence systems, and statistical analysis techniques like regression. This role requires a high level of computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level; SPSS, or similar (knowledge of R or Python will be viewed favourably); survey programming software and customer relationship management systems.Project management skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, both business-as-usual and ad hoc, while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
