About the Role As a Data Insight Analyst in our Reporting and Oversight team, you'll work closely with the systems and data teams to create an end-to-end view of data assets in the Customer Complaints Advocacy team.
In the role you will support and connect/uplift understanding of customer complaints within of business users across Suncorp Bank.
Maintain operational, management and regulatory reports.
Work on optimising the insights generated by the reporting teams and document operating procedures and user guides.

Role Type: 12 Months Role Location: Brisbane Work Hours: Full-time (Hybrid) What will your day look like?
As a Data Analyst, you will: Business and Data analysis Articulate business problems and update procedure guides / standard operating procedures (SOP).
Document data dictionary, maintain and update Frequently Asked Questions, user guides and maintain those contents to SharePoint, Confluence, Collibra platforms.
Schedule, manage and host meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Identify for areas requiring improvement to support an overall uplift of complaints understanding.
Prepare, analyse and provide commentaries to month end reports.
Independently navigate data and insights systems (e.g., DB server; AWS, SQL, Tableau dashboards).
Change management, deployment, and testing.
Advocate handling of complaints as a Business As Usual (BAU) activity in the Bank business.
Build and deploy Enterprise level Tableau dashboards and datasets.
Demonstrate experienced usage of Tableau reporting platform able to conduct training and support users to self-serve.
Data Governance responsibilities Documenting of critical data and identifying and documenting the systems in which data is captured, used, transformed, and stored.
Ensure controls are implemented to ensure sound data management and manage classification of data and managing risks and addressing compliance gaps through identifying opportunities for new controls.
Manage access to and providing, managing, and approving (if requested to do so on behalf of the Accountable Custodian of the Data Steward) any business terms/acronyms and their business approved definition for key metrics in the Enterprise Data Dictionary, relating to data they are responsible for.
Data Governance processes and Standards that the Data Steward Council and Data Governance Team (DET) deem mandatory for the Custodians' project, initiative, or business as usual activities which must be adhered to.
The escalation process through the Data Steward for issues within Collibra or Reference Data Management tool (RDM).
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Working experience in Tableau platform, MS SharePoint, Collibra.
Computer literacy – with specific experience with Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SharePoint.
Advanced use of business intelligence products e.g., Tableau.
(User admin, dashboard design, deployment, and maintenance) preferred.
Experience with coding languages, SQL and Python (desired) Few years of experience demonstrable data analyst capability (desired) Strong verbal and business writing skills with experience in reporting to senior leadership / external audience Risk management and data governance experience advantageous.
Ability to understand the end-to-end journey of system data through to outputs and insights.
Prior experience with resource optimisation, productivity measures and reporting Experience with Collibra Experience in driving operational improvements.
Demonstrated experience in influencing key stakeholders.
