The Department of the House of Representatives is seeking applications from those interested in directly supporting the work of the House of Representatives and members of Parliament at Parliament House in Canberra.About the roleThe Research and Procedural Support Officer role involves administration, research, and publishing and requires collaboration with a range of departmental work groups. The occupant will provide administrative and research support to the Clerk Assistant (Procedure), including assistance with the preparation of procedural activities and publications.The role also involves assistance with the work of the Procedural Development Section and Chamber Research Section including:supporting the department's seminar program, and preparation of Office publications and online resourcessupporting Office contributions to departmental activitiesmonitoring Chamber proceedings for contributions to Office statistics and publications, including social media.Contact InformationWe are committed to fostering a respectful and safe work environment.
