About the Area A cancer genomics research laboratory is working on developing novel biomarkers and approaches for cancer diagnosis and prevention.
About the Opportunity Assist with molecular and next-generation sequencing processing of samples. Provide support and help liaise with clinical staff for patient recruitment, sample collection, and initial stages of sample processing. Prepare patient samples (blood and saliva) for genomic sequencing. About You Year 12 or equivalent competency. Relevant research experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research in human disease. Experience with a range of molecular techniques including extraction and analysis of nucleic acids. Knowledge of epigenetic regulation of histone modification. Strong lab experience in ChIP-Seq and/or CUT&TAG. Note : Some after hours work may be required.
