Research and Development Manager Role: We seek a highly motivated and proactive research and development manager to work for Horizon Sol Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. You will be required to plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate research and development activities within Cocoon SDA Care. If you are passionate about contributing to research & development and have the required experience, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team. The candidate must have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and at least two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in the disability sector or similar field. Australian Citizens / Permanent Residents are preferred. Tasks & Responsibilities: Planning, monitoring, organising, conducting, and coordinating research and development activities within the organisation. Determining, implementing, and monitoring research and development strategies, policies, plans, and procedures. Supporting policies and commercial development leading research projects and coordinating research activities. Collecting and analyzing research data in collaboration with service managers, community engagement managers, support workers, and participants according to NDIS policies and procedures. Interpreting results of research projects and providing recommendations based on those results. Providing advice on research and development options available in the organisation in consideration of policies and procedures. Coordinating with allied health workers and behaviour practitioners during data collection activities. Assessing the risk and evaluating incident reports of participants. Improving service delivery in all Australian regions serving under the Cocoon platform. Developing plans and methodologies with the development of questionnaires to gain insights from participants about service delivery. Assisting in decision making by participants regarding access and planning and equity of support provisions on participant outcomes. Drawing conclusions to improve services like psychotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy through monitoring and evaluation of data within the organisation. Monitoring leading-edge developments in relevant disciplines and assessing implications for the organisation. Critically analysing and synthesising new and complex information from diverse sources, including participants' history and clinical diagnosis. Mandatory experience in working with persons living with disabilities, especially complex cases. Analyzing and evaluating research data to improve service delivery across Australia.
