About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to step out of Audit in Big 4, and move into industry, where you will get to see the direct impact of your work on a regular basis! Working closely with the CFO, the Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in the growth of our business, by providing timely financial advice and reporting. We are a growing and dynamic business, and so this is an excellent opportunity to step out of public practice and into industry, and really make the function your own. Working within our fun and passionate finance team, this position will not only make a difference to the finance function but will also form part of furthering the circular economy.
Based at our site in Epping, with occasional travel to our South East sites, duties will likely include (but not be limited to):
Establish a model and maintain and report on financial results on a regular basis Oversee the accounting function and establish account controls, policies, and procedures Assist with annual budget preparation Supporting our external auditors and tax accountants Preparation of financial management reports Preparation of technical accounting papers, policies and other relevant documentation Continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls Please note, this is an on-site position based in Epping.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Business / Commerce CA / CPA Qualification Proven experience in a big four or tier 2, with a desire to move into industry Strong interpersonal skills with a dynamic, vibrant and collaborative style with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with change High level of integrity and confidentiality Strong time management and organisation skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks Ability to work autonomously Why Repurpose It?
