WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About the Team
Located at MILVEHCOE in Redbank, Ipswich, the Project Management Office team is responsible for guiding the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support including scheduling, reporting, risk management and document management.
This multi-skilled team supports RDA's business including secured projects, bids and internal projects and is responsible for creating and implementing the governance processes in line with company policy and applicable standards.
About the Role
The Reporting Officer is responsible for the definition, collection and reporting of project metrics and commentary including business, project and engineering performance, schedule metrics and views, costs metrics and commentary, project dependencies and resourcing necessary to successfully execute a complex Defence project portfolio.
The general responsibilities for the Reporting Officer include, but not limited to:
Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources) by:
Definition of key project metrics in consultation with the broader program team;
Engaging with the broader program team for the collection of project metrics;
Reporting of project metrics (preparation of presentations and reports); and
Identification of risks and issues through review of program performance.
Planning, implementation and management of reporting deliverables by:
Defining project reporting deliverables content;
Assigning reporting deliverables components to RDA actionees;
Ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables through process implementation and reviews; and
Collating and preparing reporting deliverables for submission to the customer.
Monitor Subcontractor's reporting content and integrate to RDA reporting as required;
Develop and monitor standardized processes to collect and interpret reporting data;
Develop improvements for collecting, managing, and reporting data; and
Work with the customer to ensure that program reporting is meeting the customers' needs while maintaining alignment with contractual obligations.

Experience in project management environment;
Broad knowledge and experience in Australian Defence project;
Computer operation including Microsoft Office Professional suite (advanced);
Ability to engage effectively with people of diverse backgrounds to source information;
Ability to travel interstate or overseas when required; and Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
