NSW Fair Trading is seeking a dynamic and experienced manager to lead the newly established NSW Rental Taskforce. This role provides a unique opportunity to lead key operations to strengthen the rental market and ensure compliance under the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation administered by NSW Fair Trading.
What You'll Do: Lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals in ensuring regulatory compliance within the rental market.Manage high-profile regulatory operations, inspections, and inform policy and regulation in the rental sector.Develop high quality operational reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate and use intelligence and data to inform operations and policy outcomes.Drive innovative solutions to optimise outcomes and contribute to best practices.Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future of NSW's rental market.What You'll Bring: Passion for creating a fair, quality and affordable rental marketExtensive experience in managing regulatory compliance or similar operational activitiesStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop your teamExcellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and coordinate shared outcomesExperience initiating complex projects and working with diverse stakeholders to deliverA strategic mindset with the ability to apply to operational taskings to tackle complex challenges in the rental marketCurrent NSW Driver's licenceKnowledge of Residential Tenancy Act (Desirable)Why Join Us?
