**Job Description:**

Fifth Third Bancorp is seeking a passionate and energetic Remote Customer Support Representative to join our dynamic team. As a part-time associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional service and support while fostering positive relationships. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the customer experience and ensuring that client inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Customer Engagement:**
- Respond to customer inquiries through various channels including phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding our products, services, and company policies.
- Actively listen to customers, understand their needs, and address any concerns or queries they may have.

2. **Problem Resolution:**
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues while providing effective solutions promptly.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and propose appropriate actions to resolve issues.

3. **Account Management:**
- Assist customers with account-related inquiries including balance inquiries, transaction details, and account maintenance.
- Educate customers about available services, ensuring they are informed of features that may enhance their banking experience.

4. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Compile reports on common customer issues, trends, and feedback to provide to management for continuous improvement.

5. **Collaboration and Team Support:**
- Work closely with team members to achieve collective goals and ensure service standards are met.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to overall team performance.

6. **Professional Development:**
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to improve customer service skills and stay informed about industry trends.
- Seek opportunities for feedback and growth to advance within the company.

**Requirements:**

- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years in a customer support or service role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.

- **Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in the use of CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer applications.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze situations and develop effective solutions.
