Suncorp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remediation Consultant to join the team. As a Remediation Consultant, you will be responsible for completing transactions for our customers who require financial remediation. This role involves completing outbound and taking inbound phone calls, processing transactions, managing the remediation mailbox, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change. What you'll do: Engage with customers in need of financial remediation through personalised outbound and inbound phone interactions.Facilitate seamless transactions for customers seeking remediation, ensuring swift and accurate resolutions.Proactively manage the remediation mailbox to prioritize customer needs and enhance response times.Elevate customer service standards by delivering exceptional care and support throughout the remediation process.Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail in every customer interaction.Embrace and adapt to change with resilience, contributing to a dynamic and agile team environment.Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve organizational objectives efficiently.Take charge of your personal development journey and set ambitious professional learning goals.Uphold a culture of professionalism and support within the workplace, assisting team members as needed.Exemplify the values of Suncorp and its brands through consistent professionalism and integrity.What you'll bring: Ideally a minimum of 12 months of banking experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial processes and customer needs.Prior experience in remediation or dispute resolution, showcasing your expertise in resolving complex issues effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word at an intermediate level, enabling you to analyze data and create reports with ease.Familiarity with home lending and core banking systems, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the industry.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to confidently address business issues and convey decisions concisely.Strong attention to detail to uphold the integrity of remediation systems and ensure accuracy in handling client information.Strong time and workload management skills, demonstrating your ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver business outcomes efficiently.Proven track record in customer service, building strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering quality results within specified timeframes.Personal resilience to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in dynamic environments.What we can offer you Suncorp's employee benefits are designed to support, empower and reward our people.
