About the Role
VCAT will move to a new CBD headquarters in 2026 which will bring together all Tribunal divisions in one location to enable the provision of cost-effective, efficient, accessible and independent dispute resolution process for Victorians. While the fit out of the new venue is being led by Court Services Victoria, VCAT is responsible for the transitioning to the new venue and effective operationalisation and the optimal utilisation of the new venue once the fitout construction has been completed. The Relocation Coordinator will work closely with VCAT's employees, CSV project team and external vendors to facilitate relocations, handle logistics, and provide support throughout the entire process. This will include working with the CSV project team to plan the staging, scheduling and execution of the relocations, working closely with VCAT's staff and Members to provide guidance and support, and managing relocation logistics with vendors and contractors.
About You
This is a hands-on role, requiring a pro-active and systematic approach to identify relocation priorities and to complete diverse tasks. Focus on exceptional customer service, building effective and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, strong communication and liaison skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and competing deadlines. Knowledge and/or experience working in asset management and corporate environment within the Government and justice system is essential. Knowledge and experience in applying OH&S requirements and other relevant workplace management policies is required. Previous experience in corporate relocation planning and management is highly desirable.
