The Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably experienced educators for this significant leadership position at St Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, Milton commencing 28 January 2025.
The Religious Education Coordinator shares responsibility for the development of the Catholic life of the school, leadership of its vision, mission and strategic priorities and contribution to the management of the school. The Religious Education Coordinator has delegated responsibility for the coordination and supervision of teaching and learning in Religious Education with a well-developed capacity to take forward the evangelising mission of Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wollongong.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) in accordance with the 'Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong' policy (or a commitment to acquiring within a 5 year period).NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
