About the role The prime purpose of the Maintenance Planner position is to optimise work efficiency by leading the stakeholders to follow the business's Planning & Scheduling processes which relates directly to the preparation of the maintenance activitiesYour responsibilities will include:
Prioritisation of workload to ensure highest priority most critical tasks are planned & completed – including all resources (labour/ materials/ time)Developing maintenance job plans for all assets, where required to prevent functional failures.Identifying and recording what is needed in order to execute work (skill, numbers of tradespeople, estimated duration, materials, special tools/equipment, acceptance criteria and essential safety steps).
This will allow full schedules to be prepared and enable efficient execution of work.Verifying materials and special tools/equipment availability to enable efficient work scheduling and execution.Developing detailed work instructions with clear structure to ensure effective execution of more complex work.Ensure all stakeholders follow business processes in relation to planning & schedulingTo engage staff on benefits of accurate planning and scheduling and work order control.About You Minimum 4 years' experience working as a maintenance planner and schedulerNationally recognised trade qualifications (Certificate III), either in a mechanical or electrical disciplinePrior experience in providing an overall plan for the maintenance department and working in a team environment to achieve outcomesExperience with typical CMMS software such as SAP PM, MEX or otherExperience and capability to build positive relationships and embody trust and respectAbility to work autonomously and be quantitative in your approach to a sites performanceSuperior computer literacy including Microsoft office suiteCorporate discounts across gym memberships, Bupa Health insurance, travel, car rental & home removalistsAccess to staff allowances of SunRice products weekly!Banking benefits with our partnership with CommBank.If you are ready for the next step in your career and this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply below!
