Reporting to the Superintendent Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible for managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This position shall encompass defect elimination, condition monitoring, risk management, life cycle asset management and other multidisciplinary activities as required.Duties:Assess and optimize equipment strategy based on lifecycle benefits considerationsLead/facilitate investigations for equipment significant events across the organisationEnsure defect elimination Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and actions are completed in a timely manner and with a high level of qualityDevelop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant performanceEnsure early detection and prognosis of functional failure through condition monitoringContribute to the implementation, execution, and improvement of the Roy Hill Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures and activitiesProvide inputs into the long term plan and budget processSkills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringUnderstanding of assets maintenance, condition monitoring and analysis of relevant dataRoot cause analysis skills to identify and prevent issuesExperience with master data and maintenance strategies (desirable)Experience in developing maintenance strategies and tacticsGood stakeholder engagement skills (influential and negotiation)Demonstrated experience working with conveyors, crushers, screens and apron feedersMine Site Facilities:Modern, comfortable camp accommodationHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for femalesHeated outdoor swimming poolBeach Volleyball court and Golf simulatorsVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesSWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyAbout the Company:Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
