About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our NSW Commercial Banking team and manage a portfolio of customers in the $1M - $5M business lending segment.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of business customers, providing industry expertise, credit assessment, and tailored lending solutions. You will work with both directly sourced customers and broker-introduced transactions, delivering outstanding service and driving portfolio growth. With a dedicated Assistant Relationship Manager to support you, you will have the resources needed for seamless service delivery.
What will your day look like? Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients within the $1M - $5M lending segment. Customer Growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and acquire new clients through networking and strategic planning. Credit Assessment & Origination: Conduct comprehensive credit assessments and provide tailored lending solutions. Direct & Broker Introduced Transactions: Handle both directly sourced and broker-introduced business. Customer Solutions: Provide industry expertise and market insights to tailor product solutions. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with a dedicated Assistant Relationship Manager to enhance service delivery. Risk Management: Manage risk across the portfolio by identifying potential issues and developing solutions.What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience: Proven track record in commercial banking, managing a portfolio of clients in the $1M - $5M business lending segment. Credit Skills: Strong background in credit assessment and origination. Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with business clients. Commercial Acumen: A strategic thinker who understands the dynamics of business lending. Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills. Coach & Mentor: Ability to work collaboratively and lead an Assistant Relationship Manager. Customer-Centric: A passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.
