We have an opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join the Bank of Melbourne Commercial Banking team. Bank of Melbourne is committed to partnering with our commercial clients ensuring they are strongly supported and positioned for growth now and into the future. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a diversified portfolio of small to medium size connections and focus on winning new-to-bank customers.

The portfolio also includes a number of outside segment (SME, Small Business, and Retail nature) and high credit fund customers, which represents a great opportunity for a banker to engage with these business customers and grow our level of business with them. This role might also suit a SME Banker who can leverage their skillset, while also growing and delivering value to a business customer portfolio in Commercial Banking, NTB acquisition growth, and future inward commercial customer file transfers.

What do I need?
Ideally you will have had exposure to financial analysis and credit assessment. A strong understanding of commercial lending and knowledge of risk/compliance processes would be desirable. You will be a proactive individual and work strategically to grow the business displaying strong commercial acumen. Bringing with you your structured thinking, you will take accountability and understand that partner engagement is highly critical to the success of the team.

Sound knowledge of product & pricing, compliance, credit risk and sales processes. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills combined with exceptional interpersonal, communication and networking skills. What's it like to work there?
