An opportunity is now available for a Reinsurance Assistant to join our Sydney team in a permanent, full-time position.
The key responsibilities include: Prepare applications for recoveries from the government medical indemnity insurance schemes through Services Australia.Quarterly analysis of reports to determine reinsurance recoveries.Quarterly analysis of AIL bordereau to determine which matters require reporting to external reinsurers.Preparation of Claims Transaction Reports.Quality assurance check for all information received from the Claims Department.Manage and monitor unclaimed recoveries.Maintain records and respond to s38 queries.Provide timely and thorough responses to requests for information in accordance with Services Australia deadline.Manage the process of receipt recoveries.To be successful in this role you will have: Medico-legal secretarial experience or knowledge of medical and legal terminology advantageous or;Personal injury claims management experience.Must have strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.We prefer to deal with candidates directly.
