The role: Apply your clinical reasoning skills to support people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work. Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing. Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals. Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans, supporting a range of clients who have sustained an injury from motor vehicle accidents or workplace injuries (e.g., Department of Education employees). What will make you successful: Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA). Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing. Strong clinical reasoning.
