About the role:
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the team support with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills - Initial assessments to form a diagnosis, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment and Vocational Assessments for injured workers.
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals

Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health or Health Sciences, or a postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling
Registration with AHPRA or ASORC
Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
A current drivers' licence and access to their own vehicle
