NOPSEMA (the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority) is the regulator for Australia's offshore energy industry and has recently expanded its functions to include offshore renewables regulation in its capacity as the Offshore Infrastructure Regulator (OIR).
NOPSEMA is immediately recruiting experienced industry professionals / subject matter experts in an offshore oil and gas / energy industry discipline to join our Regulatory Operations Division in our Perth office. Candidates with substantial expertise and experience in the areas of offshore petroleum
drilling, subsea engineering, construction vessel operations, vessel-based decommissioning, marine engineering and structural asset integrity
are actively being sought.
We are also seeking individuals with substantial demonstrated experience in one or more of the following disciplines to fill future regulatory positions.
In the role of Regulatory Specialist, you will assess safety cases and associated documents and inspect offshore operations and support NOPSEMA's investigations of accidents and incidents. You will also provide specialist advice to, and on behalf of, the Authority and represent NOPSEMA and engage with industry and other stakeholders.
