JOB DESCRIPTION: Review of agreements and KYC documents for new investors and borrowers; and reviewing similar work undertaken by Officers in the team;Building ongoing and new client relationships as the key contact point;Maintenance of KYC information in the electronic document management system (EDMS);Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of latest AML/CFT and fraud trends;Mentoring junior members of the team where necessary;Performance of the ongoing monitoring tasks related to these investors and related parties;Working effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to ensure the mutually satisfactory resolution of key issues;Assisting in the development of training materials;Coordinating and supporting external and internal audits, external reviews and other quality assurance activities;Completing internal and external reporting requirements;Assist with submissions of Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) within regulatory timeframes.YOUR PROFILE: You hold a degree in law, business, finance or economics (preferable but not essential);You must have at least 3 years' experience in a Compliance role, including AML/CFT;You like working in a small team and you are able to think out of the box;You have the ability to interpret regulatory guidelines;You have a thorough understanding of financial crime legislation, rules and regulations in Australia; with knowledge of legal entity structures (both domestic and international);You are a results-oriented person; and are able to identify risks with maturity and awareness;You have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and positively influence outcomes;You combine a large autonomy with the necessary attention to detail;You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.WHAT WE OFFER: We are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.
