The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications, and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.Ahpra's Regulatory Operations Directorate ensures only practitioners who have the skills and qualifications to provide safe care to the Australian community are registered to practice their profession. We also manage notifications about a practitioner's conduct, performance, and/or health that may impact public safety and where applicable, follow up on any conditions imposed to maintain trust and integrity in our Healthcare system.We are seeking highly motivated applicants to tell us about the skills, experience, and qualifications they can bring to Ahpra by submitting a general expression of interest for employment opportunities as a Regulatory Officer across our Regulatory Operations directorate.
