The Regulatory Manager will lead efforts to ensure regulatory compliance and develop strategic responses to regulatory changes within the telecommunications sector. This role demands a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to manage complex compliance requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all regulations and policies are adhered to effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the regulatory compliance function. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting telecommunications. Advise senior management on regulatory requirements and implications. Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential regulatory issues. Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations. Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports. Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory obligations. Provide training and support on regulatory matters to internal teams. Develop and maintain relationships with key regulatory contacts. Review and update compliance documentation and policies. Oversee audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with legal and policy teams on regulatory initiatives. Analyse market data to assess regulatory impact. Report on compliance activities to senior management. Represent the company in regulatory forums and discussions.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Economics, or related field. Extensive experience in regulatory compliance within the telecommunications sector. In-depth knowledge of telecommunications regulations and policies. Proven leadership and management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
