About the role: The Registered Psychiatric Nurse is a member of the multidisciplinary team who works closely with patients and their families to achieve positive treatment outcomes for individuals who have experienced serious mental illness. This position may be required to undertake coverage of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager in their absence. The Registered Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for the coordination and organisation of staff and resources to ensure the delivery of quality patient-focused care. When acting as associate charge nurse in Grutzner House, the Registered Psychiatric Nurse accepts the responsibility of clinical and corporate coordination of the unit in the absence of the NUM.
We are looking for: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.Demonstrated post-graduate nursing experience.Demonstrated experience and knowledge related to health care.Self-motivated with high level of communication and organisational and time management skills.Working knowledge of patient management and information systems.Why work at GV Health?
