Ongoing Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight Available from 17th February 2025 An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse (Grade 2) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join the District Nursing team at Portland District Health.
You are responsible for the direct reporting into the Nurse Manager or the rostered Associate Nurse Unit Manager about the delivery of safe and effective personal/clinical care, within your scope of practice, and outcome of clinical care in accordance with the consumer's needs, goals and preferences to optimise their health and well being.
About you:  •    Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of three years' experience in relevant clinical areas •    Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively and work effectively as part of multidisciplinary health care team •    Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, verbal and ICT skills •    Understands and embodies person centred care in practice skills that align with AHPRA registration requirements & PDH frameworks, policy and procedures  •    Aptitude and willingness to learn new processes and procedures under direction from senior Unit staff   •    Demonstrated understanding of the needs, issues and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures •    Previous similar experience in District Nursing is desirable Please click here to view Position Description for Registered Nurse.
