South West Healthcare (SWH) is once again offering this innovative program, providing registered nurses with a fully supported role in mental health services.
Participants will gain experience in Community settings, including specialty services, and in the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit (MHAIU).
About the role We are excited to offer Registered Nurses a unique 12-month supernumerary opportunity within Mental Health Services, with placements available in both Community and Acute Inpatient settings.
Successful candidates will experience placements in the Community setting, including specialty services, as well as the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit (MHAIU).
This role will provide a comprehensive understanding of various assessments and therapeutic interventions, focusing on recovery, trauma-informed care, and family inclusiveness.
To further enhance these positions, additional training, education, and clinical supervision will be provided to develop specialist skills utilised in mental health.
