About the RoleWe are seeking an energetic, passionate Registered Nurse Team Lead, to guide and support the care team to ensure person-centered care is delivered in partnership with each resident.
This is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse wanting to take a step up into a leadership role, or a Clinical Manager looking to step down into a clinical role within a supportive team.
In this role, in collaboration with the Facility Care Manager and Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the care team, including Registered and Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers, to deliver and maintain a high standard of care and service delivery. To succeed you will need to:
Lead and support the care team to drive and strive for best practice in all aspects of care delivery;Plan, monitor and review work practices, systems and processes to maintain high standards that meet the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards;Manage clinical assessment and care plan development and evaluation alongside the registered nurses and health care team to deliver high quality person-centred care and services;Coordinate and liaise with family members and other key stakeholders throughout a consumer's journey in care, ensuring consumer input into care plans and goals of care;Ensure clinical and quality documentation is completed and maintained;Coordinate and respond to clinical incidents, including investigation, reporting and responding in an appropriate and timely manner.Our ideal candidate will have:To be successful, you will need to be a kind, compassionate person with strong leadership skills, have the ability to engage with people and foster positive relationships and have a genuine interest in the provision of quality care. In addition, we will require you to have:
Unrestricted AHPRA RegistrationPrevious experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent in Aged Care;Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and ANACC;High level leadership, critical thinking and decision-making skills.Proficient with computers, documentation, and communication.Previous experience with Health Metrics eCase Software (desirable)How to apply?If this role sounds like you, simply send us your resume and a cover letter by clicking on the apply button.
