The working hours are 8:30-5:00pm.
The Bathurst OPMH team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, OT, and psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines.
The team prides itself on working collaboratively and maintaining an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care.
The team meets every morning to review new referrals and plan the day. Clinicians will see older people and their families, conducting mental health assessments, providing therapy, and care planning for improved mental wellbeing.
The successful applicant will work closely with the team leader, the clinical leader, and the wider team, and will be linked with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
They will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway, which will include the core skills required to undertake the role and the person's own developmental interests in OPMH.
