The Gumeracha District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Nurse-Led Clinic provides care for people living in Gumeracha and the Torrens Valley region presenting with minor illness or injury with the support of virtual medical support when required. This service provides urgent appointments for illnesses and injuries - similar to those which would be managed at a GP clinic but when patients are unable to see their usual doctor. Previous experience in outpatient clinics and/or emergency departments is desirable, and the ability to work unsupervised and autonomously is a must along with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Gumeracha District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital is a small quaint hospital serving the Torrens Valley and Onkaparinga Wards of the Adelaide Hill Council Area.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads, you will be creative, innovative, and flexible when approaching issues within a country health setting.
