About the Role We are currently seeking dynamic and reliable Registered Nurse to join our team at our facility in Paradise.
Rostered shifts (afternoon & night) over 7 days including weekends.
Duties include but not limited too: Undertake and perform work within the RN Scope of Practice, referring to the Care Manager when issues arise outside of this scope.Ensure the provision of high levels of clinical care to all residents either directly or as part of the clinical and care team in ways that support the development & maintenance of physical, psychological and social well-being & reflects contemporary practice.Ensure all residents' rights, responsibilities, confidentiality and privacy are maintained in all matters, paying particular regard to resident's sense of independence and choice.Provide appropriate levels of supervision to enrolled nurses and care staff as required to ensure the professional delivery of services in line with our values and policies.Ensure all assigned assessments, documentation, care plans and reviews are carried out in a professional, efficient and timely manner so as to meet the objectives of good clinical care, accreditation and funding requirements.Work in a manner that fosters within the team a high level of staff satisfaction and a culture of learning, continuing improvement and accountability.Attend aseptic and non aseptic wound dressings and documentation of wound and wound progress.What we look for: As a collaborative and valued member of our clinical team, ideally with experience within the health and/or aged care sector, you'll have:
Relevant qualifications (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing).Unrestricted Registration with AHPRA.Demonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.Comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related issues, and experience working with contemporary practices in an aged care environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand and adapt to different clients' processes.Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and 2023 Seasonal Influenza vaccination.Police clearance.Comprehensive assessment and documentation skills.A thorough understanding of AN-ACC -Aged Care funding model.A passion for caring for others .If you are passionate about developing a career in a in a progressive, people-focused organisation and have a commitment to contributing positively to the lives of our clients' residents, then we would love to hear from you.
