South West Healthcare (SWH) provides pregnancy, intrapartum and postnatal care to over 750 high and low risk pregnancies per annum.
The Maternity Unit has 4 Birthing Suites, 12 Antenatal and Postnatal rooms and 6 Special Care Nursery cots and offers a comprehensive range of services to support women and their families.
In the role of Registered Midwife you will plan, implement, evaluate and maintain a high standard of midwifery care to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
Simultaneously recognising the needs and acknowledging the culture, values and dignity of all patients and their families.
You will empower all people and their families within a service that embraces both continuity of philosophy and consistency of advice and information.
You will provide direct patient care through a consumer centred approach and within scope of practice.

Position overview Full-time and Part-time ongoing positions availableWarrnambool CampusRegistered Nurse Grade 2Salary Range: $67,527.20 - $95,378.40 pro rata per annum, plus superannuationWhat you bring Applicants must have registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and hold relevant post graduate qualifications in midwifery.
The successful applicant must be able to work across the scope of the midwifery practice, which includes birthing suite, antenatal, postnatal and special care nurseries.
You will have a demonstrated competency in clinical practice and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, while providing high quality nursing care.
Additionally, you will have evidence of the commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.
