With 277 beds, our facility is designed to accommodate high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department situated in Bella Vista.
Our 36 bed Acute Medical Ward is seeking experienced registered and enrolled nurses with strong clinical skills to join our dedicated team. Our patient's complaints are primarily acute general medical, respiratory and cardiology. We also provide end of life care needs.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide evidenced based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsCurrent Registration with AHPRA - Registered NurseExperience as a Senior nurse of 4+ yearsExperience with Acute medical, respiratory and cardiac nursingSound clinical decision making and critical thinking skillsPractices with a patient centred care approachDemonstrated team leader skills is a bonusWorks well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
