Nestled in the rapidly evolving North West corridor of Sydney, Norwest Private Hospital is proudly operated by Healthscope, a prominent provider of private healthcare in Australia. With 277 beds, our facility is designed to accommodate high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department situated in Bella Vista.
Our 36 bed Acute Medical Ward is seeking experienced registered and enrolled nurses with strong clinical skills to join our dedicated team. Our patients' complaints are primarily acute general medical, respiratory, and cardiology. We also provide end-of-life care needs.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide evidenced-based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs Current Registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse Experience as a Senior nurse of 4+ years Experience with Acute medical, respiratory, and cardiac nursing Sound clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills Practices with a patient-centred care approach Demonstrated team leader skills is a bonus Works well independently and within a team Why Healthscope?

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour. More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC, and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
