Our 36 bed Acute Medical Ward is seeking experienced registered and enrolled nurses with strong clinical skills to join our dedicated team. Our patient's complaints are primarily acute general medical, respiratory, and cardiology. We also provide end-of-life care needs.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide evidenced-based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct, and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needsSound clinical decision-making and critical thinking skillsPractice with a patient-centred care approachDemonstrated team leader skills is a bonusWork well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour. More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
