About WARD 1: Ward 1 is a 32-bed unit that provides care for both medical and surgical patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with cardiac and general medical conditions, as well as surgical patients from orthopedic, urology, plastics, neurology, and general surgery specialties.

ABOUT YOU: As an outstanding Registered Nurse, you are a master at delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.
Your skills will include:
Post-operative nursing experience, ensuring safe and effective care for patients recovering from surgery. Orthopedic nursing experience, with expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions and surgical interventions. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient care. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, helping you to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike. Cardiac nursing experience (desired), with the ability to care for patients with heart conditions and post-cardiac procedures. A commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest healthcare practices and innovations. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, ensuring patients' needs are met efficiently. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: Must be willing to work a rotating roster of AM, PM, and ND shifts, ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of the department.
