What we need We currently have an excellent Permanent Part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience and qualification/s in Infection Prevention and Control.
The Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Lead role is pivotal in managing and overseeing infection prevention and control at the site, under the delegation of the Regional Clinical Services Manager (RCSM).
This role involves conducting regular site audits, educating staff, and preparing a monthly report.
Essential to this position are clear communication with the RCSM, fostering a supportive and educated team environment, ensuring appropriate antimicrobial stewardship, and monitoring compliance through regular audits.
In the clinical team, you will have an opportunity to: Conduct allocated audits related to infection control.Prepare and submit the monthly IPC report.Review compliance rates for mandatory Hand Hygiene and PPE education, and complete any required training.Conduct scheduled educational sessions.Review all outbreak management kits.Perform QPS infection control audits.If you have your AHPRA registration, have completed an appropriate IPC qualification and have a passion to improve to contribute to the wellbeing and functionality of both residents and staff then we want you as a part of our Clinical Team.
