An exciting opportunity exists at Campbelltown Private Hospital for a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team on a Full-time basis.

Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 16 bed Day Surgery Unit, and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Deliver evidence-based nursing care to adults and paediatric patients. Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team in a mixed case ward. Ensure patient and staff safety. Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members; Student, Graduate, and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care. Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs. Advance Life Support. About you: To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the requirements below:
Current Registration with AHPRA. A minimum of 2+ years post-graduate experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical setting. Proven experience in working with acute post-surgical patients in orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Urology, or Gynaecology. Commitment to Quality Patient Care. Compliance with ACQSHC National standards. Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Works well independently and within a team. Post Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedics, Urology, Paediatrics, or Gynaecology (or working towards) is desirable. Why Healthscope?
