Job Title: Registered NurseWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Jallarah Homes Inc, a small community-based not-for-profit home located in Meningie, South Australia. Our modern 30-bed home offers a lovely outlook over the town and Lake Albert.
About the Role:Directing care provided by nursing and personal care staff to consumers.Giving direct nursing care to consumers with particular emphasis on those persons with complex and/or changing health care needs.Ensuring that the care process and outcomes are accurately documented in accordance with procedures.Maintaining a physical and psychosocial environment that promotes safety, security, and optimal health.Communicating effectively with staff and consumers.SUPPORTING PERSON-CENTRED PRACTICES.Maintaining a physical and psychosocial environment that ensures the privacy, dignity, individuality, and rights of consumers.Assisting consumers to make informed health care decisions and demonstrating responsibility for care practice.Work with other staff to identify the nursing needs of consumers and to formulate care plans in consultation with consumers/representatives which are subject to ongoing assessment and evaluation and recognise the roles of other members on the health care team.Supervising and coordinating the work of Enrolled Nurses and other health care workers.Carrying out and monitoring relevant nursing observation, and assessments for the residents and report to the management when needed.Requirements:A current NDIS worker screening clearance dated not more than five years old.Annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.Sign a statutory declaration to identify serious criminal activity committed outside of Australia.Two years of on-the-job experience as a Registered Nurse.Possess own transportation.A desire to work in a great team environment.A commitment to long-term employment.Salary:$80,000 - $90,000 per annum.
