Set against a beautiful country setting on 25 acres, our 165 bed facility "Cooinda" provides respite, residential, palliative and secure dementia care.

AHPRA (unrestricted) Registered NurseExperience in using aged care software solutionsA passion for elder care and be a strong advocate for providing customer focused clinical careAbility to work a rotating rosterWell developed interpersonal and communication skillsWell developed skills in group facilitation as well as working one-on-oneFull work rights within AustraliaAbout the role: As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care teamPerforming comprehensive nursing assessments, developing and implementing plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team, and evaluating the progress of patient care outcomesExercising sound clinical judgement, critical thinking and ethical decision making processes in the delivery and evaluation of careEnsuring clients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgroundsMaintaining professional skills and knowledge of self and others through participation in continuing education and performance appraisal and developmentProviding guidance and direction to a team of carers and maintaining best practice at all times.What we can offer you: A professional work environment in an organisation that genuinely cares, values dedication and performance.
