We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team at both our acquired Yallambee Lodge home on a part-time and/or full-time basis.

The Position: The successful candidate will join our dynamic and supportive clinical team and will contribute to our strong focus on providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to residents.
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and support to lower classified employees, provide competent clinical care, and complete comprehensive clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs by participating in resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
Complete ANACC assessments and other clinical documentation as required.
Develop, implement and regularly evaluate resident care plans as directed.
Assist with the direct clinical care of residents as required, which may include but not limited to personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management and GP rounds.
Administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage and documentation.
Interact with doctors, relatives, residents and allied health professionals to ensure adhesion of care for residents.
Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to residents and their families at all times.
Follow appropriate infection control practices in relation to all tasks as per the policies and procedures.
Observe safe work practices and consider the safety of others at all times.
Report and document incidents, near misses and hazards immediately and in accordance with the policies and procedures.
Requirements Essential: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Desirable: Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.
An understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
Strong clinical and documentation skills.
An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
Leadership skills.
Flexibility to do shift work.

The base full-time annual salary (as provided by our New South Wales enterprise agreement) for a Registered Nurse is between $75,510 (first year of practice) and $95,154 (year 5 and thereafter), plus penalty rates, applicable shift loadings and in-charge allowance (where applicable).
