Biloela Hospital is a 20-bed hospital that caters for inpatients and outpatients including Emergency and Outpatient services, Obstetrics and Midwifery, General Medical and Surgical services.
Support services to the hospital include: Community Services; Radiology; Pharmacy; Immunisation; Child Health; Drug and Alcohol Mental Health services; Occupational Therapy; Social Work; Pathology; Physiotherapy; and Oral Health.
About the role:The Registered Nurse (RN) is a rural generalist role that will provide comprehensive clinical assessment and liaise with relevant health care providers to develop a plan of care and provide expert clinical support to the patients of Biloela Hospital and nursing staff to implement the care plans.
The RN will promote strategies that will allow patients to be cared for in the most appropriate environment.
The RN is able to function in complex situations while providing support and direction to Non-Registered and Enrolled Nursing (EN) personnel.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an annual practicing certificate.Assesses, plans, and implements care for patients in accordance with validated standards, and in partnership with them.Contributes to the coordination of care processes for the hospital, outpatients and the Emergency Department as delegated by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and contributes actively to interdisciplinary reviews of patient care.Participates in the development, utilisation and review of clinical pathways, variance analysis and care management protocols.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $121,106 p.a.
