You will provide complex care to all clients by working both independently and as part of a team. Some of our benefits include AM/PM shifts, Fulltime work and ongoing education/training.
Key Responsibilities Administration of IV, IM, SC and PO medications IV Cannulation Provide complex wound care Accurate and timely documentation in all client records Appropriate communication within the clinical team to ensure care is provided Complete initial assessments and develop care plans to ensure the best outcome for our clients Monitor and update care plans to ensure appropriate care is provided Deliver education to clients and families to enable the best possible outcome Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, with appropriate escalation What you bring Current AHPRA Nursing registration Minimum 1 year acute experience NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one) Police Clearance within 6 months (or willingness to obtain one) Use of own car – KM allowance provided Full drivers licence, reliable and comprehensively insured car CPR and Manual handling certification Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation Why work for Calvary?
