Right across the state, we are committed to exceptional care, accommodation, and support services for older Western Australians.We are currently seeking Enrolled and Registered Nurses to join the friendly teams at our Juniper Bethshan Residential Aged Care home in Katanning and the Juniper Waratah Lodge Residential Aged Care home in Wagin. Juniper Bethshan is a 26 bed facility and Juniper Waratah Lodge is a 16 bed facility. Both facilities are comprised of residents from the surrounding communities and all residents have a strong connection to their town of origin that is maintained once they enter care. Katanning is a large multicultural town within the gateway of the Great Southern region. It is a welcoming town with a beautiful landscape and historically significant sites. The town and surrounding towns share a wide range of community events including the Multicultural Festival held annually in March. The Katanning township is surrounded by farming properties and within a two hour drive of beaches and stunning natural rock formations that are hundreds of years old.Wagin is a small town approximately 56 kms from Katanning. This town is within the Wheatbelt region and is known for wheat and sheep farming. Wagin is conveniently located to the larger town Narrogin. Both Bethshan and Waratah Lodge are warm and welcoming sites that will provide successful candidates a comforting feeling of community. Whilst working as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse you will provide professional nursing care for residents within the scope of your registration. You will provide guidance and supervision to care staff, appropriate role modelling and ensure person-centred care principles are embraced and embedded by those providing services for residents in line with Juniper policies and the Aged Care Quality Standards. This role assists with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in a clinical setting.For Registered Nurses there are multiple casual, permanent part-time and full-time positions available at both sites, with up to 75 hours available per fortnight for the successful candidate(s). Applications are welcome from candidates available for part-time work. To be considered for part-time you must be available for at least one shift each week.For Enrolled Nurses there is 37.5 hours available per fortnight at each site, with a full-time contract on offer if the successful candidate is happy to travel across both sites.All positions involve shift work with morning, afternoon and night shifts across the seven days of the week.
